If you have any experience in cooking, you most likely know that an extractor fan is an essential part of every modern kitchen.
The most popular designs are so called “hood extractor” fans and they’re installed directly above the hob. They are designed to draw out the excess moisture, and also all other types of food odours produced by cooking.
Stand-Alone Extractor Fans
If you want to get rid of the excess moisture and lingering odours in your kitchen, and you don’t have a hood extractor fan, or the one you have now can’t really do the job all by itself, then an additional stand-alone extractor fan is a great solution for you. These are completely mobile, and you can put them near the oven, on the kitchen counter, or anywhere, where they won’t get in your way. Stand-alone fans contain a charcoal filter inside, so all the excess moisture and other air pollution is trapped inside this filter. Note that these filters have to be cleaned from time to time.
